ABOUT ME

Born and raised in London, England, Jeannie Frost developed an aptitude for hairstyling at a young age. With a brush and makeup she could create significant transformations. Over the years this process evolved into a disciplined and skilled art.

She began her formal two year training program in cutting, colouring, highlighting, and styling at Ware College, UK, graduating with distinction. After a year in the industry as a Stylist, and then managing a small salon, Jeannie diversified to expand her skills with Steiner's aboard Cruise Ships. There, she developed her skills in styling, creating glamorous up-dos. This unfolded into international career experiences in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Australia.

Returning to Vancouver, Jeannie opened Londonfrost. After additional training and experience under her belt, she decided to specialize in professional Hair & Make Up for the Bridal Industry, Fashion Photography, Film, TV and Print Media. Through the years a passion for retro-vintage, pin-up modeling, and period work has created many of her signature looks.

The core idea of Londonfrost is to uncover each person’s unique brand of beauty. It’s what’s fueled Jeannie’s passionate involvement in charitable fundraising and volunteer work, both in Canada and developing countries such as Rwanda and Mozambique.

Whether it’s working with a model and photographer, a bride on her wedding day, or volunteering to make over a woman on the streets of Vancouver’s downtown east side, the potential to reveal the natural beauty in all of us is her ever present desire.

A new look can ignite a new feeling, creating a new experience.

“I believe our life experiences carve out the unique purpose in us all. That purpose revealed itself to me. What I love most is enhancing the best in a person, revealing what already exists.”
